Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Forward Studio LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For any question or request about your data, write to lucas@cliche.design.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist:

• your email address;
• your first name, if you give it;
• your answers to the 6 questions (your situation, role, experience, main blocker, recent projects, timing);
• the page section where you signed up, and the date.

When you visit the website: our host keeps technical logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to run and secure the service. We do not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

In your browser only: the website remembers your light or dark theme preference and what you type in the day rate calculator, using your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Why we use it

• To email you when the course opens, with the date and the program. Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox.
• To tailor what we send you and offer you a free 20-minute call, based on your answers. Legal basis: your consent.
• To keep the website running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Who processes it

• Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting.
• Neon (servers in Frankfurt, Germany): storage of waitlist sign-ups.
• ADPList: if you book the free call, the booking happens on ADPList under its own privacy policy.

Forward Studio LLC is based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside Switzerland and the European Union. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist data until the course opens and for up to 12 months after, then delete it, unless you become a student. You can ask us to delete it at any time before that.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. You can withdraw your consent at any time: every email includes an unsubscribe link, or write to lucas@cliche.design. We answer within 30 days.

You can also complain to your data protection authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the authority of your country.

Children

The course and the waitlist are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update this page and its date. For significant changes, we will tell waitlist members by email. See also the legal notice.
